Who is Bacchantae?
Bacchantae was founded in 1983 as the premier a cappella group of Barnard College. Comprised of members from all undergraduate schools at Columbia University, we perform a wide range of self-arranged pop, folk, and R&B music.

Official Barnard Events!
As the official a cappella group of Barnard College, Bacchantae has the honor of performing at many of the College’s official events. This includes Barnard’s commencement at Radio City Music Hall, the Barnard Annual Gala, Convocation, and more!
Student-Run Events on Campus!
Each semester, Bacchantae hosts concerts on campus. Often, we collaborate with other Columbia a cappella groups for joint performance opporunities. Additionally, Bacchantae performs at other on-campus events, including Night Market and Glass House Rocks!

We LOVE performing in and around New York City! We are proud to perform at numerous community events, conferences, and fundraisers each semester.
